Alban’s vision tackles a root cause of global instability. His wish is to decouple energy security from human insecurity by transforming how the world views and manages its resources. The goal is to establish a new paradigm where energy access underpins human rights—such as the rights to safety, prosperity, and a healthy environment—rather than undermining them through conflict. While the scale of this ambition is vast, it is a necessary and achievable target for a sustainable and just future.

The founder of Wishbox4all points out that “children dream without limits, free from the barriers and prejudices that later condition their hopes”.
Too often, society and our environment create these barriers. As a result, a child’s most important dreams are sometimes not supported by the most important people in their life, simply due to misunderstanding or a lack of communication.
A concept that came to life
The spark for this idea came from Alban’s own children and nephews during the Christmas season of 2016.
As the holiday spirit filled the air, the children bought some plain wooden boxes and decided to paint them. Around the same time, Alban was reading Napoleon Hill’s classic work, Think and Grow Rich. One principle from the book resonated deeply: the necessity of writing down your wishes and reviewing them daily to align your decisions with your dreams.
In a beautiful, spontaneous moment, the children merged creativity with intention. They began coloring their boxes and, inspired by Alban’s reading, decided to write their deepest wishes inside them.
Being someone who works closely with children, Alban decided to test this “wish box” concept in the activities he organized at his workplace. The response was astonishing. He discovered that people immediately understood the idea’s core meaning and soulful purpose—yet, surprisingly, no one had ever tried to build a project around it.
An even more revealing insight emerged: an overwhelmingly high ratio of parents had no idea what their children truly wished for. This gap in understanding highlighted a profound need for connection, confirming that Wishbox4all was more than a simple activity; it was a necessary tool for dialogue and dreams.
